A six-game slate is on tap in the NBA for Thursday, and were here to help you win in daily fantasy contests.Below youll find the players our experts are building their teams around, as well as some players who will be highly owned but should be faded. Our panel today consists of Renee Miller, Joe Kaiser and Kyle Soppe.Players to build aroundKyle Soppe - Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee BucksLets not beat around the bush: part of the fun in playing DFS is aiming for the big prize. So while most owners turn their attention to a game that features an all-time offense against a much maligned defense when the Warriors host the Rockets, Im building my roster around Milwaukees finest. The Greek Freak dominating (22.7 points, 6.1 assists, 8.5 rebounds, 2.1 blocks, and 2.3 steals per game in November) and I think its sustainable. The versatility is unquestioned and with his usage percentage inside of eight feet increasing for a third consecutive season, this scoring spike is for real. He draws the second least efficient defense in basketball tonight and, with all due respect to Bojan Bogdanovic, who in the world is matching up with him on this Nets roster? Hes expensive...and hes worth every penny tonight.Renee Miller -- James Harden, Shooting Guard, Houston RocketsYoure going to want to attack this game in DFS tonight. With a 230-point over/under, I cant wait to watch it either. Houstons terrible defensive efficiency and the fact that the Warriors are such heavy favorites might drive you to Stephen Curry or Kevin Durant as building blocks, but for me, theyre the stars Im diversifying with tonight. Many of my lineups will feature a very affordable Klay Thompson, but Harden is the star I cant live without. The fast pace and high total here, not to mention what hes doing night in and night out, suggest another easy 60-plus fantasy point performance.Joe Kaiser -- Klay Thompson, Golden State WarriorsShooting guards have had a field day against Houston this season and not many are shooting the ball as accurately or as confidently as Thompson over the past three weeks. Hes a reasonably priced option who has a good chance to shoot his way past his salary value on Thursday.Players to fadeKyle Soppe - Marc Gasol, Memphis GrizzliesTonight will mark the Grizzlies fifth game in seven days, a grueling schedule that doesnt end with an easy matchup as the Magic rank as the sixth most efficient defense this season. The strong defensive metrics are nice (how about some more -- the Magic rank in the top 20 percent of the league in fewest points allowed and field goal percentage to opposing centers this season) and the impact figures to be magnified given that these are two of the seven slowest offenses in basketball. For annual fantasy, I love the well-rounded skill set and high usage that Gasol offers, but a tired version of him in a tough matchup? No thanks, Ill pass. In fact, I have him pegged as the third most valuable big man... in this game!Renee Miller -- Kevin Love, Power Forward, Cleveland CavaliersLove has been on a bit of a tear lately, with three of his past four games being exceptional in terms of fantasy points per dollar. Tonight the Cavs take on the Los Angeles Clippers in a well-balanced offensive and defensive game that should be super fun to watch. However, the Clippers are the NBAs No. 2 team in defensive efficiency and allow power forwards relatively few fantasy points (bottom five). The matchups will be tough for Cleveland up and down the court, and if Im spending up on the Cavs tonight, its going to be with LeBron James, not Love.Joe Kaiser -- Goran Dragic, Miami HeatI like to fade players against Utah because the Jazz slow the pace as much as any team in the league and that means fewer possessions and fewer opportunities in DFS. So why Dragic? Because Im not fading Hassan Whiteside with as well as hes been playing, thats why. Dragic has been the more inconsistent one out of Miamis top players this season, and this matchup against Utah has me looking elsewhere at point guard. Nike Air Max 97 Dam Sverige . -- Canadian Andrew Wiggins got the ball on the wing, made a nifty spin move and then let go with a soft floater from about 10 feet that swished through the net in Allen Fieldhouse. Nike Air Max 98 Sverige . -- Vincent Lecavalier got everything but the desired result in his return to Tampa Bay. http://www.reaairmaxsverige.com/ . Scott Kazmir allowed four hits in seven shutout innings, Michael Brantley hit a two-run homer in a three-run first inning and the Indians maintained their hold on an AL wild-card spot with a 4-1 win over the Houston Astros on Saturday night. Nike Air Max 270 Rea . Thousands of fans at Mosaic Stadium will be cozying up to each other in an effort to stay warm in chilly temperatures and block the Prairie wind that locals say can knock your socks off. Nike Air Max 720 Rea . "It doesnt get any better than that," Giambi said. "Im speechless." The Indians are roaring toward October. Giambi belted a two-run, pinch-hit homer with two outs in the ninth inning to give Cleveland a shocking 5-4 win over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night, keeping the Indians up with the lead pack in the AL wild-card race. HALIFAX, Nova Scotia -- As Sidney Crosby prepares to carry the Stanley Cup through his Nova Scotia hometown, he said the championship tour is in many ways sweeter the second time around. The Pittsburgh Penguins captain is in Halifax, Nova Scotia, this week overseeing his annual hockey camp and will bring the Cup to the city for a parade on Saturday, ending at the same rink where he honed his skills as a boy.During a break Wednesday from working with excited kids at the Cole Harbour rink, Crosby reflected on a season that had its ups and downs -- and a championship ring that was all the brighter as a result. This time I appreciate it a little bit more, Crosby said. Ill make sure I spend every second I possibly can with it (the Stanley Cup). After the previous 2009 victory tour through this hockey-crazy suburb, Crosby said he naively imagined winning seasons might be an annual affair. Not so much.He struggled through a concussion, time away from the game, and the Penguins endured a seven-year hiatus from hoisting hockeys greatest prize, until they raised it for the fourth time in franchise history on June 12 after beating the San Jose Sharks 3-1 in Game 6.As team captain, Crosby is permitted to have the trophy an extra day, meaning it will have a proud place at his home on the outskirts of the city. He said he intends to have friends over for a look, including several whose careers are over and may never have another opportunity to be so near it.The best part is being able to share it with people, he said. The Penguins evolved into a different team after a midseason coaching change, picking up speed, scoring more and improving puck possession when Mike Sullivan replaced Mike Johnston in mid-December.Crosby called it the two-team season during Wednesdays news conference. The captains performance also picked up under Sullivan, along with forward Phil Kessel, who became a key postseason force on the third ooffensive line.dddddddddddd. The Penguins went 33-16-5 after Sullivan took over.Everybody was talking about ... do we need to change this, do we need to change that? Theres always those questions, and winning kind of answers all of those, said Crosby, when asked about the season. The Conn Smythe winner was out on the ice most afternoons this week, joking with the young players and offering shooting tips.Crosbys hockey camp is in its second year and is drawing children from Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States and northern Europe, say organizers. Theres a lottery for the 160 girls and boys allowed in, drawn from 5,000 applicants.Parents attending say many of the children, aged 8 to 12, have a Crosby story to tell from their workouts. For the NHL star, its all part of unwinding. You see how excited the kids are. ... There are kids from all over here. Thats neat, he said.Crosby said hes starting back on training after a short break, and is already reflecting on his role as a captain of Team Canada in this falls World Cup in Toronto. The tournament will leave little room for error and winning will depend on which squad adapts the most quickly, he said. The team is similar to the Team Canada that won gold at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The biggest thing in Russia is we got better as the tournament went along. A short-term event like that, its very important. Well have to see. Well have to find our identity pretty quickly, he said. Its one-game scenarios so you need to execute pretty well.Meanwhile, the veteran is soaking up his hometown celebration, conscious this time around that in professional sports, you dont know what the future holds. Its a tough road ... You understand its tough to get there, and you take in as much as you can when you do win it, he said. ' ' '
