On Wednesday, members of the Presidency Council, led by Prime Minister Fayez Serraj, arrived in Tripoli from Tunisia by sea.
In a press statement released here, the members of the Security Council said this was an important step towards bringing stability to the country and bringing the political process back on track.

Libya has been suffering severe political crises with two rival parliaments and governments, amid escalating violence and growing militant extremism.
Tripoli is controlled by the so-called Libya Dawn militias, a coalition of armed groups that have taken over the capital in 2014 and brought back the expired General National Congress, creating the current political division in the country.
The Presidency Council was formed under a UN-backed peace agreement signed by Libya's rival political parties on Dec. 17, 2015 in Morocco.
RAMALLAH Saldi Scarpe Uomo Nike Cortez Classic Nylon Verdi Grigie , Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Palestinian consensus government decided on Thursday to form a security force to protect Palestinian hospitals from Israeli attacks.
The decision came after Israel raided a hospital in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, which killed a Palestinian man and detained his injured cousin.
Secretary General of the Council of Minister Ali Abu Diak said that Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah ordered the security forces to form a "joint force to intensify the guard" and protect hospitals in the Palestinian territories.
Abu Diak considered the raid a "dangerous violation of the international humanitarian law, international conventions of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Israel and a new ugly crime."
The Palestinian health ministry announced on Thursday that Israeli soldiers shot dead 27-year-old Abdullah Shalaldah in the hospital raid.
The ministry said in a press statement that an Israeli special commando force of 21 soldiers stormed al-Ahli Hospital in the city and killed Shalaldah inside a hospital room.
Abdullah Shalaldah was accompanying his cousin Azzam Shalaldah at the hospital, nurses who witnessed the raid told Xinhua. They said that soldiers disguised in Palestinian clothes and entered the hospital.
Palestinian Health Minister Jawad Awwad said in a press statement that besides killing Abdullah, the soldiers arrested Azzam Shalaldah and another person.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry seriously condemned the "crime" committed by the special Israeli forces and considered it a "state terror against the Palestinian people."
Mr Putin announced the move at the Russian Hmeimim airbase in Syria
Russia has begun withdrawing some of its troops from Syria, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Monday.
President Vladimir Putin ordered the partial withdrawal during an unannounced visit to Syria on Monday.
Russian support has been crucial in turning the tide of Syria's civil war in favour of government forces, led by president Bashar al-Assad.
Mr Putin made a similar withdrawal announcement last year, but Russian military operations continued.
When asked how long it would take for Russia to withdraw its military contingent, Mr Shoigu said that this would "depend on the situation" in Syria.
The Russian president was met by Mr al-Assad at the Russian Hmeimim airbase near Latakia.
Mr Putin said: "I order the defence minister and the chief of the general staff to start withdrawing the Russian group of troops to their permanent bases Saldi Scarpe Donna Nike Air Presto Uncaged Ultra Rosa ," according to the Russian RIA Novosti news agency.
"I have taken a decision: a significant part of the Russian troop contingent located in Syria is returning home to Russia," he added.
Less than a week after announcing he will stand for re-election, Vladimir Putin flies to Syria and declares victory. Coincidence? Probably not.
Signalling the end of Russia's military operation in Syria will go down well with Russian voters.
Electoral concerns apart, Moscow views its two-year campaign in Syria as a success - and not only in terms of fighting international terrorism.
The Russians have succeeded in keeping a key ally, President Assad Scarpe Nike Air Presto Uncaged Ultra Bianche Saldi , in power. In the process, Russia has been guaranteed a long-term military presence in Syria, with its two bases Hmeimim and Tartus. Moscow has also raised its profile across the Middle East.
Then there's the global stage. The operation in Syria prevented Moscow's international isolation.
Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014 had sparked Western sanctions and earned the country, in the eyes of some Western governments, the label "pariah state". The Syria operation forced Western leaders to sit down and negotiate with Russia's leadership.
"We will never forget the victims and losses suffered in the fight against terror both here in Syria and also in Russia," he said.
He told President Assad that Russia wanted to work with Iran, the government's other key ally, and Turkey, which backs the opposition Scarpe Nike Air Presto BR Rosse Saldi , to help bring peace to Syria.
