Instead, with my new way of exercising I am burning fat for up to three days after my short and simple workouts. The key for me is that I figured out how to raise my resting metabolic rate.
I also am concerned about toning. In the past, I used weights and repetition trying to tone my muscles. I learned I had been wasting my time! I now "sculpt" my body into the lean, mean machine I've always wanted.I want to make one last comment about the exercising. I had tried hundreds of sit ups and ab crunches through the years, even trying out a lot of equipment guaranteed to help me lose my belly fat fast. No it didn't! I now lose stomach fat much quicker than with those full body exercises (not even targeted to my stomach or abs at all).
I take things one day at a time now. Baby steps rather than big skips and jumps for me. My positive "I can lose the weight and keep it off" attitude will help me be one, big, "fat" (pardon the pun) success story, even five years from now.When it comes to finding real diets that work, it is difficult to find the ones that give long-term and good results. Crash diets can only give you short-term results and, if not taken properly, will take you nowhere. Losing weight takes time, discipline and hard work. Do not believe in fad diets, you can only use it to jump start the real diet that you are going to use for long term results.
