Utah?has suspended wide receiver Cory Butler-Byrd?for what coach Kyle Whittingham called personal issues.Butler-Byrd split time last season as a defensive back and a wide receiver for the Utes, playing in all 13 games with five starts.Cory is dealing with personal issues and has been suspended from our team indefinitely, Whittingham said in a statement Thursday.Per the school, Butler-Byrd remains on scholarship, but will not participate in team activities during his suspension. The Utes opened camp Thursday.The coaching staff switched Butler-Byrd to full-time receiver in the spring, and he was slated to start in the slot this season.
