As we live our lives, we have to keep thoughts on the "big picture." Going MZF Group Review to the gym is sometimes a real inconvenience. Most people don't enjoy it, others do. But the fact is that being fit makes the rest of your life more fun. There's a sign on the wall of my fitness center that says "Working out makes everything else easier" and that is so true. Whether it is getting out of that chair or hiking in the Grand Canyon, being fit makes it better.
As you get older it gets even more important to maintain a level of fitness, and I am not talking about being able to run a marathon or climb Everest, although both of them have been done by folks in their 70's and beyond. I am just talking about getting out of your recliner or climbing in and out of a car. Things you take for granted right now, but they may not be do-able in the future if you don't look after yourself. I talked to two "older ladies" in the past couple weeks. One couldn't get up out of a chair without help, the other couldn't climb into a tow truck when her car broke down on the side of the road. (Luckily the tow truck driver was sort of burly and able to give her a boost!)
Those sorts of things are what I am talking about when I say better quality of life. A moderate workout routine can keep you in the game for as long as you live.I am a grandmother and, at this age and stage of life, have chosen walking for regular exercise. Actually, walking chose me. Since I have had surgery on both eyes for detaching retina, a fall would be dangerous, so I cannot jog, bike, ski, cross country ski, or play tennis.
But I can have walking program and warm ups are part of it. Like many other senior citizens, I take prescribed medicines for certain medical conditions. A diuretic is one of these medicines and it can limit both exercise and warm ups.
